Tom Spanton
Tom started Leaside Plumbing and Heating back in 1985 and still takes great pride in the quality relationships that have been formed over the years with his customers. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, he brings expertise that can’t be matched today, especially with his work on groundbreaking Toronto projects.
He started in the Commercial/Industrial sector of plumbing, and that included work on the Spadina Subway Line, the Kennedy Subway Station, the Scarborough LRT, and various schools including Northern Secondary, and Maurice Cody Junior School. And his experience also includes new construction, renovation, and service work in and around the Greater Toronto Area.
Tom decided to start his own business so he could concentrate on customer relationships – he thought it was important to combine high-quality work with his own personal values of honesty and professionalism. He has the experience and credentials that are at the foundation of Leaside Plumbing and Heating. He is a Master Plumber, Gas Fitter 1st Class License, and Heating Specialist.
Married with two grown children, one of whom has joined the Leaside Plumbing team, he enjoys city life and the outdoors and is an ardent fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. He continues his commitment to maintaining the excellence that has grown Leaside Plumbing from a small family business to one of Toronto’s premiere service companies.
